A small group pilates mat class is a great form of exercise that combines improving strength, flexibility and posture. This 60-minute, low impact workout, will help you improve your stability, balance, coordination and overall fitness. Taking place inside our Boxing room.

During this class, you will build strength from spending time under tension and focusing on individual muscles creating all the important burn. The aim is to stretch your muscles out, improve joint health and core strength.
Our certified pilates instructor, Katiana, will constantly monitor and supervise each participant's technique, reducing the risk of incorrect movements and injury.

Pilates is a multi-functional method and can be adapted to all types of bodies. It has long been used to help lower back pain, recovery from injury, or improve functionality. Pilates can offer gentle sessions based on breathing and flexibility for those who need it, or challenging full-body workouts for the more athletic.

WHAT'S ON THE MENU?
– Improve posture and alignment through deep core work
– Dynamic stretching to effectively lengthen muscles
– Reduce tension, improve flexibility and ease tightness
– Exercises targeting specific body areas to strengthen and stretch muscles (spine stretches, roll ups, open leg rockers, hundreds, leg circles, double leg stretches etc)
– The class takes place on pilates mats using pilates props (pilates rings, pilates balls, soft balls, blocks, pilates bands etc)
